On January 16, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture, and the SPAM Centre presented “Multispecies Publics: A Panel on Animal Studies and Posthumanism in and Beyond the University.” The panel featured: Jessica Carey, Professor of Literary and Cultural Studies at Sheridan College; Alanna Devine, Director of Animal Advocacy at the Montreal SPCA; and Kathleen Vaughan, CURC in Socially Engaged Art and Public Pedagogies and Associate Professor of Art Education at Concordia.
